Snow Day!
The snow is finally here!
Well, so far it's more like snow crystals rather than actual snow... but tonight we are supposed to get some of the fluffy stuff.

Ahhhh Organization
I finally ordered a fancy, heavy duty filing cabinet. An expensive, locking, solution to all of our worries and needs. Ok, well maybe not all of our worries and needs, but at least we will know where our paperwork is.
So here is the beginning scene of our new, organized lives:
(basically a bunch of black painted slabs of wood with random stickers on them)
I have never had directions that were so incredibly polite! It blew me away how many times the word 'please' was written.
This is my "organized mess", trying to figure out what is going to go where.
And this... Ta Da... is the finished product. It only took 2 days and a whole lot of "No Dean! --AND-- Lily, the Social Security cards are not for coloring!".

My boys
Tonight Gavin and I went to his school to have dinner and have fun with math. His curriculum night included jeopardy math, problem solving skills and a hot-dog/potato chip dinner. In other words, an awesome night.
This is the scene when we came home.. Alvin and the Chipmunks playing on the DVD, Lily on one couch. And this--something that has never happened before... Dean has NEVER fallen asleep in his Daddy's arms before.

Big Kids
We no longer have babies, no longer have "rug rats". We just said Happy Birthday to our little Dean who is now 2 years old.

Well, you are probably wrong... I am not sad. I enjoy having big kids, I LOVE the fact that they can feed themselves and play together. I am excited about the idea of preschool, and that Dean is now old enough to start tumbling classes.
