Loving the Library

Lily is about to turn 4... She has been getting little chores like putting away her clean laundry and helping to take out the recycle (plastic only people, we don't want another mishap). I felt it was time to let her get her very own library book and be 'in charge' of taking care of it.
She loves getting big and doing things just like her Gavin.

Garden Fail

Well, the sunflowers finally started blooming, but I'd have to say it's not what I expected. More like a yellow daisy-weed hybrid
These guys don't mind

More races and stuff

Over the last two weeks I did a few races ... Here is a little proof:

(I can ride my bike with no handle bars, no handle bars)

Athlete (required) photo for the Nations Triathlon

(always the HAM!)

The week before was the Virginia Beach Rock N Roll half marathon:

(13.1 miles people)

I will be paying for the above (copyrighted) photo, don't worry.
Couldn't have done it without the kiddos and pushing me to train harder and not to give up -- love ya!
Special thanks to Dad for pulling some strings and getting a free ticket to the tri, and to my sister, Shelly, for the free place to crash at for the half marathon!

Myrtle Beach

Our Myrtle Beach vacation might have been weeks ago, but I know you don't mind waiting to see these fabulous photo's.

Road trip wasn't too bad, thanks to the Nintendo DS, and snacks...lots of snacks

Finally we arrive here:
(the Kingston Plantation)

Only to be staying here:
(Condos and villa's at the Kingston Plantation)
Oh beautiful condo, with full kitchen and private patio, how I love thee!

My three angels having a blast on the beach:

We had many adventures on this trip, not too many captured by camera... but I had
to get this creepy one on camera:

That guy was just huge!
