So adorable. Meanwhile, this morning I took a class for military spouses, where we learned to do/make mosaic tiles. Here's my near-finished product:
I still have to wipe off some of the extra grout and then seal it tomorrow. Kinda pretty and it was a fun class.

Very cute! I showed the kids (and you know they can't just watch it one time) and Katie said, "Awesome Dean!" just like she was right next to him. They all think he is a rock star! He's gonna win over ALL the ladies with that charisma. You better watch out!
I love your tray too! It's so artsy of you; is there anything you can't do? I'm starting to get a complex here...How long did it take you? Did you lay it out before hand or just shoot from the hip? How ever it came to fruition, it looks awesome!

I took a class on a Saturday to be able to make that mosaic.. it took the entire 3 hours! I had to draw out the star and the cut tiles to fit, and then figure out a good 'filler'. If I didn't have the class (which came with free childcare) I would never had been able to do anything quiet so crafty LOL.
