So, I ran a 10K this morning, as sort of a "training run". The triathlon that I am doing (29 Days 16 Hours 23 Mins 9 Seconds from right now) is an Olympic distance, which means that after the 1.5k swim in the Potomac River, 40k bike course through DC, then there is a 10k run through Washington, DC. So today's run was just a little taste of all of that craziness. How did today go? Fantastic! It's a really hilly and hot challenging course. 59:32

One big fat lie

According to today's new Picerne Military Housing news letter, these guys are the new "yard of the month" winners.

Oh Please! I mean, REALLy? 8 stepping stones and dying grass?? So glad I didn't win the coveted trophy/sign. You think some one is friends with the judge?

Gavin's post (5k)

Hello people, this is me, Gavin. In the morning I'm all ready for the run.

This is me after the run (I got really upset since Mama beat me). I ran my 5k in 30:10, with no training at all. In this picture thought I didn't win.

But I did win 1st place! Mama didn't get anything. This is me with my trophy and the running group.

How is potty training going?

Eh.. Pretty good when he isn't hiding from me!

Magic Chef

Not that my husband feels this way.. but ugh, I am tired of cooking and cleaning and homework! I sure could use a magic chef/nanny/maid/massage therapist. Or maybe a day off of tri training.
